We're excited to bring you an exclusive recap of the progress and advance’s at 4id Solutions over the past few months. 

Time seems to have flown by as we delved deep into Projects, engaged with new Prospects and focused on developing new Products.  

As an established RFID converter with a proven global reputation of delivering high-quality RFID products, 4id continues to set the standards for what customer’s should expect from their converter. 

Driven by a passion for investing in research, development and new technologies to support greater production efficiencies and customer demand puts 4id at the forefront of the RFID converting industry.  

Our vision is to support sustainable RFID development while exploring and evaluating new technologies for our customers to enhance our global product offering.

International Travel

Owner & Managing Director Bruce Hegan and Operations Manager Wayne Oldham attended the RFID Journal Live in Orlando, Florida in May. 

In this same month, Bruce, Wayne and Production Manager Rodney Joughin had a factory tour to Taiwan where they met with Alan Wu and the team at Smooth & Sharp. 


Workshops & Events

In April 4id had the privilege of participating in the inaugural Asygn passive UHF sensor IC workshop held in Grenoble, represented by Wayne Oldham.  

 

CeMAT Tradeshow

4id was also represented at the CeMat Australia Trade Show in July and the Central Coast Logistics and Supply Chain Forum in August.

What’s in an RFID label?

Component selection, sample creation and testing are key to producing our high quality, versatile RFID labels.  These include Materials, Adhesives, RFID, Environmental/Conditions, High Resolution Print & Variable Data, Encoding & Data Management & Conversion.  


4id Facility Visits

We have had the pleasure of welcoming and hosting several key industry representatives with an emphasis on sharing our story and strengthening our connections, collaborating with local stakeholders, industry partners and government bodies.   

 

In May we welcomed Sharon Foster, Senior Export Adviser/TradeStart Adviser, Trade & Exports Investment NSW; Faith Mamboh, Economic Development Manager, Department of Regional NSW and Ari Newsome, Investment NSW Associate Director, Trade & Investment - Americas.

 
 
 

We were also delighted to host Dr Nadia Court, Director Semiconductor Sector Service Bureau (S3B) and Natalie Heather, Associate Director - Clean Economy and Manufacturing, Investment NSW. 

 

In July we welcomed the Hon. Yasmin Catley, NSW Minister for Police and Counter Terrorism and the Hon. David Harris, Minister for the Central Coast.

 

 

Celebrating Staff Development

In June our Operations Manager Wayne Oldham was promoted to Innovation and Sustainable Technology Director.

AIM Membership 

We recently became members of AIM – the global industry alliance for stakeholders of RFID, barcoding, smart devices, and other automatic identification and data capture (AIDC) technologies and supporting Blockchain, IoT, and RTLS applications. It’s a great platform for 4id to collaborate and engage with other experts in the industry to remain at the forefront of the AIDC space.

Working with innovative partners around the world, 4id is constantly looking to embrace opportunities for novel and sustainable applications and products which offer that little something extra. To this end 4id is working with partners to promote sensor enabled RFID products which can be used to confirm tamper/authenticity or wirelessly report temperature, strain, humidity, and light to name a few.
